During exams, I used to think that sitting for long hours meant I was preparing well. But honestly, it didn’t always show in my results. That’s when I started wondering-- maybe it’s not just about how long we study, but how we study.

Gradually, I changed my approach. Making _short notes_ and using _sticky notes_ helped me simplify heavy topics. _Mnemonics_ made it easier to remember tricky points, especially during revision. What really helped was _active recall_– trying to remember things on my own instead of just rereading them again and again.

I also found that _explaining topics to friends_ made a big difference. It helped me understand what I actually knew and where I was still confused. And the _pomodoro technique_ kept me focused without feeling too exhausted.

_Even after trying all this, I feel like there’s no single “perfect” method. What works for one person might not work for someone else, and finding what suits you takes time._

So, what do you think matters more during exams-- the number of hours you study, or the way you study?
_And what has actually worked best for you?_

Yes. The way you study is important. Smart study worked for me.
