Yes.. the mentorship matters a lot during your practice. A good mentor will help you learn new things and a bad one will ridicule you and destroy your interest in the subject. so learning and upskill always and continue to participate in CDE programs and be part of the regional dental councils. ---

I think we all learn and gain knowledge of normal to disease, it’s prevention and treatment… But no-one teaches us… How to become a professional after passing out How to present ourselves How to approach a clinic, a dentist or an hospital. How the World works outside our college. ---

And then there is a direct competition with quacks. This is a real pain in neck when you realize that the public expects everything from you as a professional, but is very accommodating towards jhola chhap practitioners who are playing with the health and lives of people. ---

Completely agree with this. This is the sad reality 😔
