Have you ever noticed a pinkish tinge in your spit while brushing? Then your gums might be bleeding.

If your gums bleed while brushing, flossing, or even on their own, your mouth is trying to convey something is not normal inside your mouth.

In many cases, bleeding gums are one of the earliest signs of gum disease.
The most common reason is plaque buildup — a bacterial film that collects around the teeth and gums and triggers inflammation.

And when ignored for too long, it can progress to:
gum recession, bone loss, loose teeth, and even tooth loss.

What makes this even more important is that gum disease is not just about your oral health. Numerous studies have also linked gum disease with systemic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, adverse pregnancy outcomes, and kidney disease to name a few

Healthy gums do not bleed. The earlier you address it, the easier, faster, and more affordable the treatment usually is.

If your gums bleed even occasionally, get them checked.

Agreed, ma’am! Bleeding gums are the silent forerunners to much more complicated conditions. This reminds me how a patient was diagnosed with **APLASTIC ANEMIA** during a routine scaling procedure.
