**Introduction** : Sanjit Roy established this non profit organisation in 1972 in Tilonia Rajasthan mainly focusing to empower rural woman.

**Objectives**

- They train rural ,illiterate woman to become barefoot solar engineers
- They install solar panels,repair it on their own
- They can also learn in night schools,children parliament
- They provide digital learning centres
- Local midwifes are being trained for basic health care practices
- Microskill projects are encouraged
- Drinking water projects are developed

**Philosophy of this organisation**

1. Their core philosophy is to Empower rural woman to make them financially independent
2. Using complex technology in simplest way possible by putting it in the hand of rural woman with no prior experience or degree

**How this college is different from other colleges**

- No prior experience is required

- No Class rooms

- No degree is required or given

- Focus on grandmothers

- Mahatma Gandhi philosophy of rural development is being followed

**Conclusion** : What is truly remarkable is their philosophy and how skills are given more priority than the piece of paper. Demand of woman empowerment is there but such great initiative provide wings to it.

**What would happen if our education system also focus mainly on Skill development than excelling us in more theoretical knowledge?**

Employers value a mix of skills and theoretical expertise. Skills are really important for career growth.If the education system values skill development, then it would be of great help in boosting career growth of students.
