So in my opinion The cost of investing to obtain the certificate and to crack exam is high in relation to the salaries that medical coders are receiving. Many of my friends had started the career in the medical coding and now they want to switch to another path because of lack of career growth. and only a few companies are providing the work form home opportunities but after gaining experience of 4 to 5 years.
