Ethics should not be separated from our profession, money can be made by preserving honesty and adding hardwork to the mix.

Actually, it is a very conflicting matter. Ethics matter a lot when it comes to healthcare, but I think profit contradicts everything. But maybe if the both will be combined, the result will be welcoming.

ethics and money play a major role in healthcare. For good treatment both money and the ethics of the healthcare system are gone through beforehand.

Definitely we as healthcare professionals deserve to earn for our knowledge, expertise, time and skills. And also it’s nowhere written that ethical healthcare is just to earn profit from the patients, No not at all Infact patient welfare is our priority and it should go hand in hand with money. Being in such a reputed profession i think money is not the only factor we should think about.

If the hospital payment actual worth that deserves doctors then the healthcare system can be get better.

I believe this goes both ways. Just like milking a patient for profit is unethical, putting doctors on a pedestal and asking for free treatment is too. Ethics and money can go hand in hand, if both parties respect each other.

Yes totally agreed , being a doctor it’s our moral mission to treat our patient, but also at the same time money is also important for the survival of doctors own needs

Ethics is engrained in the profession and money is the reward that accompanies it- for the sole purpose of treating humanity.

I feel we always remember a doctor who listens to us and makes us feel comfortable. Doctors deserve to earn well after years of hard work, no doubt. But if a problem can be treated simply, why put someone through unnecessary treatments? At the end of the day, being honest with your patients matters a lot.
