Drugs are miraculously important invention by humans. We have been using various treatment options derived from herbs and plants from ancient times. Allopathic drugs are often used to treat symptomatic relief from a particular disease but not from the root cause. However, they do provide immediate relief but the long-term or irrational use of drug can cause serious health hazard.
Another critical issue is the risk associated with the extended use of commonly prescribed drugs. Long-term use of NSAIDs can result in gastrointestinal complications such as ulcers and bleeding, as well as kidney damage. Similarly, excessive or inappropriate use of Antibiotics contributes to antimicrobial resistance, a growing global health threat that reduces the effectiveness of treatments. Chronic use of Corticosteroids may lead to serious side effects, including osteoporosis, weight gain, and immunosuppression.

Every drug has a side effect. Most drugs depend on potency and efficacy. Alas, prevention is better than cure but sometimes misfortune may strike. That is when we use them.

Truly said. We should use lowest effective dose of drug and patient awareness also play a key role in minimizing adverse effects. Inappropriate use of antibiotics has lead to its resistance that affect the future treatment effectiveness.

Prevention is better than cure! Drugs are formulated mainly to cure the diseases and to treat the harm caused by accidents/infections etc.healthcare problems created by our daily habits are needed to prevent, taking medicine for something that we can change from our simple habits must be consider as “mistake/error”in our life that we can stop.
