Have you seen situations in practice where strong emotional intelligence or conflict management significantly impacted outcomes positively or negatively? Or do you feel the current curriculum already addresses this adequately?

Yes, incorporating emotional intelligence and conflict resolution into medical education can be highly beneficial. These skills can:

1. Enhance patient-doctor relationships
2. Improve communication and empathy
3. Reduce conflicts and misunderstandings
4. Support teamwork and collaboration among healthcare professionals
5. Promote mental well-being and resilience in medical students and practitioners

Including these subjects in medical curricula can help future doctors navigate complex interpersonal dynamics and provide more compassionate care.

Sadly current curriculum does not have have adequate exposure towards this area.
