Well isn’t it part of their job. Can’t say by personal experience but obviously not a very good sight. But soon everyone becomes habitual to their job. One can use mask and gloves for patients’ safety as well as for themselves. ---

Even though it is part of our job , no dentist want to see a filthy mouth and even after a long practice they don’t get used to it.. I hav seen senior doctors scolding patients who come with unhygienic conditions .. at least when you know you are going to dentist , brush your teeth and and try to keep it neat.. ---

Incentivize the patients by giving them 10% discount if they come after brushing the teeth, flossing and cleaning the tongue. When patients come without brushing the teeth, flossing and cleaning the tongue- make them pay 50 % extra. This might work. Just my 2 cents!! ---

Not really, we feel happy for good oral hygiene and feel the lack of awareness in case of poor oral hygiene. ---

Yes! It’s surprising how some people look good from the outside but have poor oral hygiene. I often take pictures or display their mouths on a monitor to educate them about oral health. However, some people prefer not to see their own mouths. 🤷‍♀️ ---

Yes we do especially when people come with tobacco in their mouth. I still remember that patient very well. ---

yes, mainly for patients with cavity and bad breaths!
