I feel this section needs a bit of awareness, so  
For uncomplicated UTI:

- NITROFURANTOIN 100 mg BID
- CIPROFLOXACIN 500 mg BID
- Drink 3-4 L WATER/DAY  
If it is complicated and you are pregnant, you should just go to the doctor

Yes, along with this, having cranberry juice and probiotics also helps
