# Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

_Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)_

CPR is a lifesaving technique used to restore blood circulation and breathing in a person who has stopped breathing or whose heart has stopped functioning.

_When to Perform CPR:_

- Cardiac arrest
- Drowning
- Choking
- Severe injury or trauma
- Heart attack

_CPR Steps:_

1. _Call for Help_: Call your local emergency number.
2. _Check the Scene_: Ensure the area is safe for both you and the person in need.
3. _Check the Person_: Check for breathing and pulse.
4. _Start Compressions_: Begin chest compressions (30:2 ratio for adults).
5. _Give Breaths_: Provide rescue breaths after every 30 compressions.

_Importance of CPR:_

- Improves chances of survival
- Restores blood circulation and oxygenation
- Can save lives in emergency situations.

CPR is very important and lifesaving skill. It increases the chances of the patient and helps to revive the patient.
