I’d go with Bioinformatics because it lets you explore biology through data and computers, uncovering patterns and insights that would be hard to see in the lab. With AI becoming a big part of life sciences, it feels like the future is moving in that direction.
Biotechnology and Bioinformatics both have their own merits and future scope. However, Biotechnology still has an upper edge over the Bioinformatics as it covers numerous dimensions/ approaches which further opens a wide array of things in the medical field.
