Pharmacy students often remain confused about opting future career paths. Many are interested in studying abroad but unable to do so because they are not fully aware of application process or struggle to meet the financial requirements. ![1000199476](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex033/uploads/medbound/original/2X/3/32e18e6fc865484152d3c38338098a6e4e4f355c.jpeg) Fortunately, many national schemes and universities offer fully funded scholarships for students pursuing PharmD or M.Pharm degrees abroad. However, eligibility criteria vary significantly. Many of the universities require language proficiency tests (such as IELTS, TOEFL etc.), a strong academic record, Statement of purpose, letter of recommendations, Attested degree certificates. **Commonly fully funded scholarships for PharmD and M.pharm are:** **Fully funded scholarships for PharmD** Typically these scholarship covers full tuition fee, accommodation, health insurance and some may provide stipends. • MEXT scholarship- Japan • KNB Scholarship – Indonesia • Qatar University Scholarship – Qatar • Saudi Government Scholarship- Saudi Arabia **Fully funded scholarships for M.pharm or Masters programs** : • Fulbright Program- USA • Chevening Scholarship-UK • DAAD Scholarships- Germany • Eiffel Excellence- France • CSC (Chinese Gov)- China • Türkiye Bursları- Turkey • Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP)- Australia **Government schemes that provide scholarships:** • National Overseas Scholarship (NOS) • Fulbright-Nehru Master’s Fellowships • Raman Charpak Fellowship • Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation scholarships One should note that, scholarship usually don’t cover application fee, visa charges, language proficiency test fee, and house keeping charges.
