ACLS is a certification course by the American Heart Association (AHA) focused on managing cardiac arrest, stroke, and other life-threatening emergencies.  
It goes beyond basic CPR → advanced clinical interventions, drug algorithms, and team dynamics.

**It includes** :-

\*Adult cardiac arrest algorithms (VF/pulseless VT, PEA, asystole).

\*Use of emergency drugs

\*Defibrillation, synchronized cardioversion, and pacing.

\*Acute stroke and ACS protocols.

\*Advanced airway management and ventilation techniques.

\*Effective team leadership and communication in emergencies.

\*Interpretation of ECG rhythms related to resuscitation.

**ACLS Drugs “LEAD ME” (Common Drugs in Code Blue)**

L – Lidocaine

E – Epinephrine

A – Amiodarone

D – Dopamine

M – Magnesium sulfate

E – Ephedrine
