There is a need for 1 day Menstrual leave policy for all colleges and work place. Standing for long hours for postings or lab is difficult when we are in the first day of our period. If we get one day to rest ourselves, our hormonal health will be improved and we will be recharged the next day to get back to college or work. Let’s discuss your thoughts on this 😊 ---

Yes pls… Not 1 , atleast 2 days … Since first 2 days are the major days when it comes to menstrual flow, nausea, back pain, sore muscles and cramps ---

I think offering wellness leaves for both female and male employees is better so women can rest on difficult period days and men can take a mental health/ sick day when needed too. This way there would be workplace equality. ---

People misunderstand when we advocate for menstrual leave . They think it opposes the idea of equality rights as well.. they oppose the menstrual leaves on this argument .. but we accept women and men are different physiologically .. and some women suffer painful cramps which physically debilitates them from doing anything those days .. that’s y the need for leave . ---
